Our Story

Welcome to TalGlow! We’re Bryan and Madison, a San Diego couple who recently got engaged and have been together for 10 wonderful years. Our journey into health and wellness began at a local YogaSix studio, sparking a passion that led us to delve deep into understanding what we put into and onto our bodies.

It all started with scrutinizing food labels, which quickly extended to a curiosity about skincare ingredients. What we found was shocking: many personal care products contain hormone-disrupting chemicals and preservatives that can be absorbed through the skin, potentially causing reproductive, developmental, and other health issues. These include endocrine-disrupting chemicals used to make PVC soft and flexible, as solvents, and to make synthetic fragrances linger longer.

Determined to find a healthier, more holistic approach to skincare, we stumbled upon whipped beef tallow. This time-tested ingredient, rich in vitamins and essential nutrients, offered a natural alternative to the chemical-laden products we wanted to avoid. After years of personal use, it quickly became the only skincare we trusted and loved. Now, at 30 years old, we are passionate about sharing this holistic goodness with others who are looking to eliminate harmful chemicals from their daily lives.

Did you know that the average woman is exposed to 168 chemicals on her body each day from 12 different personal care products? These products include cosmetics, lotions, toothpastes, body washes, shampoos, and deodorants. Many of these products are applied directly to the skin—the body’s largest organ—which can absorb ingredients into the bloodstream. Our mission at TalGlow is to help reduce this chemical exposure so that we can all look and feel our best, not just today, but for our entire lives.
